Tree Nursery Worker – Open Cultivation , Netherlands

Working Hours: 38 hours per week

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Main Tasks:

• Until Christmas and mid-January to mid-February:
  • Planting Buxus shrubs and conifers.
  • Assisting with planting: A machine punches holes in the soil, and you place the plants.
• From mid-February:
  • Removing trees using a machine.
  • Loading trees onto trolleys and assisting with replanting in the hall.
• Other Tasks:
  • Preparing orders.
  • Shaping shrubs (e.g., boxwood) with hedge clippers.
  • Removing weeds.

Physical Demands of the Job:

• Bent-over Work: Physically demanding tasks, primarily outdoors.
• Preferred Candidates:
  • Note: Due to the physical intensity, women typically leave the role within one week.
