PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Protecting your personal data is important to us. In this text, we will explain how we process personal data in our business activities.

We process personal data in accordance with Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection and amending certain laws (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”).

As the Controller, you are the data subject, i.e., the person whose personal data are being processed.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED: Common personal data that you provide to us for specific purposes include:

  • Name
  • Surname
  • Title
  • Position
  • Contact details (phone number and email)
  • Personal data included in your CV
  • Other necessary data for processing purposes

For employees of the Controller, both common and special categories of personal data are processed. Data subjects may also include temporarily assigned employees and family members of employees, if their data is processed in connection with employment relationships.

PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING: Your personal data is processed for the purposes for which you provide it. These purposes include:

  • Fulfilling employer obligations related to employment or similar relationships, including pre-contractual relations
  • Providing information to the employer about temporarily assigned employees
  • Recruitment processes
  • Contractual obligations
  • Accounting and tax purposes
  • Human resources and payroll
  • Protecting the legitimate interests of the Controller
  • Statistical, archival, public interest, historical, and scientific research purposes
  • Handling your requests through contact forms

LEGAL BASIS FOR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING: We process your personal data for the following legal reasons:

  • You have given consent for one or more specific purposes
  • Processing is necessary to fulfill a contract to which the data subject is a party or to take pre-contractual measures at the data subject’s request
  • Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation or international agreement binding on the Slovak Republic
  • Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller

The Controller may process your personal data without your consent if processing is necessary for academic, artistic, or literary purposes, or for informing the public by mass media, provided it does not violate the data subject’s rights.

PROCESSING SPECIAL CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA: The Controller processes special categories of personal data of individuals as necessary to fulfill obligations and exercise specific rights in labor law, social security, social protection, or public health insurance, as required by law, international agreement, or collective agreement, providing adequate safeguards for the rights and interests of the data subject.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD: Personal data must be stored in a form that allows identification of data subjects only as long as necessary for processing purposes. Personal data may be retained longer for archiving in the public interest, scientific or historical research, or statistical purposes, provided appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented.

Your personal data will be processed for the duration for which consent is granted. Upon expiration, the Controller will delete your data unless another legal basis for processing exists.

CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA: Your personal data may be shared with authorized entities such as courts, district offices, law enforcement, attorneys, notaries, auditors, and, in certain cases, social insurance companies, health insurance companies, and tax authorities.

The Controller may also share personal data with processors on the basis of processing agreements ensuring adequate protection.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA: The Controller does not transfer personal data to third countries or international organizations.

AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING: The Controller does not engage in automated individual decision-making, including profiling.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT: As a data subject, you have the following rights under the Act and the Regulation:

  • Right of Access: You have the right to obtain confirmation from the Controller whether your personal data is being processed.
  • Right to Rectification: You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal data without undue delay.
  • Right to Erasure: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data under specific conditions.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request the restriction of processing under certain conditions.
  • Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transfer it to another controller.
  • Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data based on your specific situation.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe your personal data is being processed unfairly or unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

DATA SECURITY: Your personal data is secure with us. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access and misuse. We regularly review and enhance our data protection measures.
